IN THE LASER CUTTING DEPARTMENT THE FIRST PROCESSING STAGE TAKES PLACE.
The production cycle starts in the technical department, where we use a CAD-CAM system and 3D software to create prototypes and the subsequent mass production of each piece.
The professional use of these tools ensures the perfect automation and programming of the laser system formed by three Co2 Mazak Mark II Lasers. The system, provided with fully automated loading-unloading of metal sheets, allows us to work with the utmost flexibility.
At Arsom we have recently introduced a new technology: the fibre laser.
The new AMADA is an innovative machine for 2D laser cutting and provided with a fibre laser generator. This feature makes it faster and more accurate compared to common laser machines, significantly reducing cutting times and increasing the production of traditional Co2 lasers. Compared to traditional laser machines, the FLC FIBER performs extremely accurate cutting of thin, hard and reflective materials like copper, brass and aluminium by saving costs and energy consumption.
